    About the position

    We are searching for a skilled backend developer to join our early engineering squad and spearhead our product enhancement. If you excel in taking responsibility, problem-solving independently, and wish to be part of the startup journey, this opportunity could be ideal for you.

    In summary, we handle around 100k daily requests, and you will be instrumental in scaling this to 10 million daily requests.

    Given that we are still in the initial stages of forming a dedicated backend team, your duties will encompass a wide array of exciting tasks

    • Scouting for innovative technologies and integrating them for internal and business utility
    • Devising scalable frameworks for backend systems
    • Enhancing application performance for extensive production deployments
    • Crafting business logic, building APIs, and services.
    • Picturing and executing scalable databases for diverse services
    • You will be involved in recruiting and guiding junior developers

    Qualifications

    • If your code is effective, we should get along well, but read further (disclaimer: most of the below is not mandatory);
    • You possess 1-3 years of experience in structuring and scaling backend systems from scratch;
    • You have constructed serverless backend architectures using AWS platforms and tools like Lambda, DynamoDB, Aurora, etc. (Extra points if you have experience with NodeJS, Redis, and PostgreSQL);
    • You have overseen large-scale deployment using CI/CD integrations and implemented error handling systems such as Sentry;
    • Most of the above is our way of demonstrating credibility about our technology stack, so if you lack experience with certain tools & are willing to learn or have alternative suggestions, that's perfectly fine;

    Location: Bangalore
