Roles and Responsibilities
- Monitor customer payment behavior and credit utilization to take appropriate actions to improve collections.
- Develop and implement effective credit control policies and procedures.
- Oversee and manage the collections team to ensure timely and accurate collections
- Proactively communicate with customers to collect payments and resolve payment issues
- Analyse customer creditworthiness and set appropriate credit limits
- Collaborate with sales, customer service, and other departments to to understand customer needs and facilitate credit decisions that support business growth
- Review and recommend changes to credit terms and conditions as needed to improve credit business and collections
- Stay uptodate on industry trends and regulations related to credit and collections
- Assist the management team in planning and budgeting for the credit and collections function
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to credit and collections
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in credit control, collections, or related field
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyse data and identify trends
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and support team members
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement effective credit control policies and procedures
- Experience with credit management software and tools
Salary:
₹50, ₹70,000.00 per month
