Job description
Job Responsibilities

Drive month end closing process
Review monthly schedules and GL codes to ensure accuracy and completeness of accounting
Assist in statutory financials preparation and facilitate audits for the areas assigned
Assist in IFRS financials preparation for group reporting and facilitate audits for the areas assigned
Conduct a thorough review of GL balances on a monthly and yearly basis with reasoning to help understand numbers better and correct errors, if any.
Stay updated on any statutory or accounting changes announcements made and assess its impact on the books of accounts

Required Skills:

Well versed with Accounting Standards and Companies Act requirements
Excellent analytical and communication skills
Familiarity with databases and the ability to summarize large volume of excel data
