Head Of Finance Duties:

Form a budget, make financial decisions, and allocate resources in accordance with an organization's policies and procedures
Supervise other finance and accounting professionals
Maintain detailed records for financial analysis
Stay abreast of current regulations, tax laws, and accounting practices
Provide training to new and existing team members
Oversee periodic analytical and reporting activities
Advise the General Manager on financial management matters

Head Of Finance Responsibilities:

Manage the monthly and yearly financial statements and budgets, including monthly and quarterly forecasting and variance analysis
Monitor the financial health of properties to ensure profitability and compliance with budget targets
Update property records for existing and potential new tenants
Analyze and interpret financial data to prepare reports, financial statements, and presentations
Prepare schedules, budgets, and forecasts
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Minimum 5 years' experience in property management, accounting, or related field
Knowledge of property management accounting procedures, legal requirements, and capital markets
Familiar with accounting software packages, including Excel
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Experience with property management information systems
Experience with Excel (financial projections and forecasting)
Experience with Word (financial projections and forecasting)
