Front office

Key Responsibilities:


  • 1. Welcomes and greets all patients and visitors, in person or over the phone.
  • 2. Answers the phone while maintaining a polite, consistent phone manner using proper telephone etiquette.
  • 3. Registers new patients and updates existing patient demographics by collecting detailed patient information including personal and financial information.
  • 4. Process billing and payments for patients and internal departments.
  • 5. Facilitates patient flow by notifying the provider of patients' arrival, being aware of delays, and communicating with patients and clinical staff.
  • 6. Responds to inquiries by patients, prospective patients, and visitors in a courteous manner.
  • 7. Keeps medical office supplies adequately stocked by anticipating inventory needs, placing orders, and monitoring office equipment.
  • 8. Protects patient confidentiality, making sure personal health information is secured by maintaining a clean desk policy and not leaving the computer unlocked while away.
  • 9. Call patients to remind them of upcoming appointments, procedures & inform them of any updates from the clinic.
  • 10. Responsible for keeping the reception area clean and organized.
  • 11. Provide patients with support and guidance as needed.
  • 12. Make calls to prospective patients and explain about our facility and services.

Technical

  • Knowledge of Hospital Industry
  • Knowledge of Fertility based hospital

- handling EPABX System,transfer calls to concern person.

  • 2.Take & relay messages, provide information to callers.
  • 3.Deal with queries from customers.
  • 4.Ensures knowledge of staff movements.
  • 5.Conference room arrangement, administrative support.
