Your Role and Responsibilities

Primary Role:
Work with the IT Security Operations team to close the IT Security calendar

Work with the IT Security operations team to understand to tool used for scanning, finding VA gaps and Health Check
Support the internal teams of security and compliance topics during internal and external audits and reviews.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement information technology security policies, procedures, and processes.
Understand infrastructure and security project activities.
Identify opportunities to leverage automation to improve security and build the tools necessary to execute improvements
Develop methods to monitor and measure risk, compliance, and assurance efforts.
Assess the effectiveness of security controls.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Basic knowledge of Windows client/server, Unix/Linux systems, Mac OS X, VMware/Xen, and cloud technologies such as IBM cloud, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
You are a strong communicator and you value well articulated solutions by creating diagrams and well written documentations. You also understand that sometimes stakeholders and customers will look for your guidance and you rre not afraid to engage them when the situation calls for it
Critical thinker and problem solver
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ambitious individual who can work under their own direction towards agreed targets/goals and with creative approach to work
Intuitive individual with an ability to manage change and proven time management
Proven interpersonal skills while contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Uptodate technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing publications

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

Experience of performing internal security assessments and supporting both internal and external audits for all IT security domains mentioned above would be an added advantage
