We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Buying and Merchandising Assistant.

This entry-level position offers a fantastic opportunity for a fresh graduate or individual with little to no prior experience to kickstart their career in the retail industry.

As a Buying and Merchandising Assistant, you will be part of the team responsible for supporting the buying and merchandising functions, ensuring the right products are available at the right time and in the right place.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in Product Selection:
Aid in selecting products based on market trends, consumer preferences, and sales analysis under the guidance of senior buying and merchandising personnel


Inventory Management Support:
Assist in maintaining and updating inventory levels, ensuring accurate records and appropriate stock levels to meet consumer demand


Market Research and Analysis:
Conduct research on market trends, competitor analysis, and consumer behavior to support decision-making processes


Vendor Coordination:
Liaise with vendors and suppliers to ensure smooth processes, including order placements, follow-ups, and coordination of deliveries


Data Entry and Reporting:
Maintain accurate databases and records related to buying and merchandising activities. Generate reports and insights for the team to support decision-making.


Assist in Promotional Activities:
Support the planning and execution of marketing and promotional campaigns in coordination with the marketing team


Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work collaboratively with other departments such as marketing, sales, and operations to ensure a cohesive and synchronized approach.
