Description

Responsibilities:

-
Solicit, negotiate and generate contracted revenues from volume prospects that meet criteria established in the property business plan.
-
Prospect for new contract business using a wide variety of methods including phone calls, outside sales calls, attending community functions, internet prospecting, supplier partnerships, trade journals, etc.

Develop, implement and constantly modify sales action plans.
-
Negotiate and close contracts that meet the business plan objectives.
-
Provides accurate group revenue and expense forecasts according to established guidelines.
-
Manages and distributes function and event changes to operating departments during function execution.
-
Monitors client specifications and administering all commercial and public events, ensuring that the organisation meets or exceeds customer expectations.
-
It also involves overseeing the collective coordination of all event information and resources; account management, sales prospecting, and business development.

Act as a liaison between event specialists and operating departments

Develop budgets, make purchases (supplies, decoration, etc.) track and manages expenses for all special events in order to keep them cost effective and in-line with organisational budget goals

Secures sponsors, program partners, performers and vendors, as appropriate, for each event

Collating and distributing information packs and other promotional items to clients and potential clients

Building relationships and networking

Manages the promotions, client relations and execution of facility rental events and group sales.

Qualification

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Hospitality or Sales and Marketing.

Bachelor's degree / MBA in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel Management, or related major preferred

Requirements:


  • 1+ years of experience in event management and organisation, including corporate meetings and other special events
3-4 Years Experience in hotel sales or event sales or equivalent amount of industry experience.


Salary:
₹400, ₹800,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Gurugram, Gurugram , Haryana: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
