Roles & Responsibilities:

To obtain, study and synthesize background information including the geology, hydrogeology and existing borehole data.
To manage, interpret, and integrate data associated with geology and hydrogeology.
To write reports on investigations/findings in accordance with the scope and send for review.
Database management using SharePoint other Document Control Databases.

Required Skills (Technical Competency):

Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Geology / Geophysics / Geosciences / Petroleum.

year of experience in oil & gas or relevant industry.

To obtain, study and synthesize background information including the geology, hydrogeology and existing borehole data.
Good knowledge of the subsurface attributes of ores, soil, minerals and other materials.
Familiarity with environmental regulations.
Knowledge on software such as Arc-GIS, IHS Kingdom, Petrel and Petra is an added advantage.
Exposure to various file formats used by software for log, seismic and other well data.
Good planning and prioritization skills.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Able to work in shifts.
