    Job Description

    The decentralised technology landscape continues to evolve at a rapid pace, and Folium Labs remains on the cutting edge with our innovative cryptosystems. We're looking for a skilled front-end engineer to join our team of researchers and developers who are consistently raising the bar for our network (called Arithmic). The ideal candidate will have a unique blend of technical expertise, insatiable curiosity, and an analytical mindset.

    You will work closely with software engineers, test engineers, researchers, designers, and the management team to develop multiple user-facing features that will determine how users interact with our network.

    Core Responsibilities

    1. Develop User-Facing Features: Efficiently create engaging and intuitive interfaces, prioritizing user experience and responsive design.
    2. Ensure Technical Feasibility: Assess UI/UX designs for technical practicability, applying best practices in web standards.
    3. Optimize Performance: Focus on frontend optimization to enhance application speed and responsiveness.
    4. Collaborate Effectively: Work within cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features following Agile development methodologies.
    5. Input Validation and Security: Implement secure coding practices to validate user input and protect against security vulnerabilities.

    Skills And Qualifications

    Technical Skills:

    1. Web Fundamentals: Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and web markup.
    2. JavaScript Expertise: Proficiency in JavaScript, with practical knowledge of frameworks like React (at least 1 year of experience) and libraries such as jQuery.
    3. Flutter Development: 1-2 years of experience with Flutter, particularly using the Stacked framework, for cross-platform application development.
    4. Architectural Understanding: Knowledge of the MVVM architecture, focusing on separating logic from presentation layers, which is preferred over MVC for the specified roles.
    5. Code Quality: Familiarity with SOLID principles for object-oriented programming and DRY (Don't Repeat Yourself) principles to avoid redundancy and ensure code reusability.
    6. Version Control: Proficient use of Git for code versioning and collaboration.
    7. Performance and Security: Basic understanding of optimization techniques for web performance and security best practices, especially relevant in financial and Blockchain applications.

    Agile Development:

    Agile Methodology: Experience working in Agile development environments, with an emphasis on iterative development, continuous integration, and regular feedback loops.

    Additional Skills:

    Basic Cloud Technologies: Understanding of cloud services, primarily AWS, for deployment and operations.

    Design Tools: Familiarity with design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Photoshop) for basic image adjustments and collaboration with design teams.

    Educational Requirements:

    Bachelor's Degree: A degree in Computer Science or related fields is preferred, providing a foundational understanding of software development principles.

    Soft Skills:

    Adaptability & Learning: Eagerness to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving project requirements.

    Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues and propose effective solutions promptly.

    Team Collaboration: Strong communication skills and teamwork, crucial for Agile environments.
