Job Description:


The Service Advisor is a key position within the automobile industry, acting as a liaison between customers and the service department.

The primary responsibility of a Service Advisor is to ensure customer satisfaction by providing excellent service and guidance throughout the vehicle repair or maintenance process.


Responsibilities:


  • Customer Interaction:
  • Greet customers in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Listen to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle symptoms or issues.
  • Provide clear explanations of recommended services and associated costs.
  • Keep customers informed about the status of their vehicle throughout the repair process.
  • Service Recommendations:
  • Conduct vehicle inspections and diagnostics to identify necessary repairs or maintenance.
  • Consult service manuals and technical resources to determine appropriate repair procedures.
  • Make service recommendations based on vehicle condition, manufacturer guidelines, and customer preferences.
  • Prioritize and schedule repairs based on urgency and customer needs.
  • Documentation and Administration:
  • Create and maintain accurate service records for each customer visit.
  • Document all services performed, including parts used, labor hours, and diagnostic findings.
  • Prepare repair estimates and obtain customer approval before proceeding with work.
  • Process service orders, invoices, and payments using dealership software systems.
  • Customer Education and Satisfaction:
  • Educate customers about preventive maintenance and recommended service intervals.
  • Address customer questions or concerns with professionalism and empathy.
  • Follow up with customers after service to ensure satisfaction and address any additional needs.
  • Handle customer complaints or escalations in a timely and effective manner.
  • Team Collaboration:
  • Coordinate with service technicians and parts department to ensure timely completion of repairs.
  • Communicate effectively with other service advisors and management to maintain workflow efficiency.
  • Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and performance reviews as required.

Salary:
₹10, ₹16,000.00 per month
