The Opportunity:
You are great at:
- Good accounting knowledge to understand and post Journal Entries
- Review of Journals and reconciliations
- Ensuring timeliness, accuracy and quality of work performed regularly including report extraction, query management.
- To prepare and follow the process as per SOP.
- Supporting Audits: Documentation support and providing necessary explanations with evidence
- Analyse accounting entries, identify and resolve issues with supervision.
- Owns and executes accounting processes within area of expertise.
- Provides significant support on assignments.
- Follow the steps as per identified business controls.
What it takes:
- First level university degree with a focus in commerce advanced degree and/or accounting certification (e.g., CPA, MBA) preferred.
- Typically, 1 to 3 years of work experience, preferably in an accounting environment
- Intermediate level knowledge on Excel and basic PowerPoint skills
- Flexibility to support in different time zones.
- Ability to understand, interpret and present financial data.
- Good understanding of System/Integration, problem solving and analytical skills
- Good understanding of accounting processes
- Identifying potential escalation and acting on that in a timely manner
- Fluency in English
