Roles and Responsibilities
Governance (Senior Data Officer / Data Scientist)

Ensure data is being used according to relevant regulations and best practices.
Support in acquiring the data needed to use effectively.

Software ownership (Senior Data Officer / Data Scientist)

Select and maintain data management and analytics software implementations.
Manage updates and license renewals including AMCs.

Data driven culture (Senior Data Officer/Data Scientist)

Define expectations for the use of data across departments.
Facilitate interactions between business departments and IT.
Showcase empathy towards all stakeholders

Strategy

Develop policies and practices for using data as a corporate asset.
Lead new analytics initiatives that improve revenue or decrease cost.

Artificial Intelligence

Internet of Things (Sr Data Officer - near future requirement)

With experience of managing and utilizing large volumes of data, CDOs have to equip themselves and own the future of IoT initiatives.

Preferred Qualities

Strong technical skills in multiple data analysis and management programs
Performing Data Quality measurement and reporting, including development of reports and dashboards that provide meaningful analysis
Ability to synthesize data/finding/trends to key stakeholders and team
Working collaboratively with a team of regional data officers to align on the design of data visualizations and then collaborate with external stakeholders to generate the desired results
Managing expectations of multiple stakeholders and projects simultaneously
Agility for managing multiple priorities at once
