ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • QA manual testing engineer with strong scripting knowledge and proficient in QA tools like ALM.
  • Good knowledge of SDLC, Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and different testing methodologies
  • Good knowledge on Test Case preparation, review & execution, Defects review, and management, Black Box Testing
  • Well versed with Usability, GUI, Functional, System, Regression, and Smoke/Sanity testing
  • Should have been involved in endtoend testing projects.
  • Should have good knowledge of ALM 12.0 modules like Test Plan, Test Lab, Test Management and Dashboard.
  • Should have good knowledge of Testing deliverables
  • Test Plan, Test Strategy, Test cases preparation & Test Report.
  • Work closely with functional BA's to understand the functional flow of new/modified functionality and then write functional test cases.
  • Experience of publishing daily and weekly status reports.
  • Experience in working in onshoreoffshore model is preferred.
  • Own the quality of the feature set and show an attitude of responsibility and ownership towards the quality. Report any doubts/concerns immediately that could have an impact on the release.
  • OPTIONAL SKILLS:
  • Experienced in Mobile testing will be added advantage.
  • Exposure with working in Agile/Scrum environment.
  • Expertise in QA methodologies, tools and processes
  • Bug Tracking Tools (JIRA).
  • EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:
  • 4+ Yr experience
  • B.E / B.Tech
  • EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or other technical discipline with at least 5 years of related work experience
  • Minimum 58 years of relevant work experience of Manual Testing
  • Should have worked on ALM and Software Test Life Cycle (STLC) for at least 4 manual Business Applications.
  • Certification on Testing Tools and methodologies will be added advantage.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills0
  • Detail oriented, able to multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Selfmotivated, able to work in a team and independently.
