.NET and Azure Architect (Senior Consultant/Manager) - Job Description

Job Summary:

This is full-time role focused on IT Projects with the ability to deliver against strict deadlines and business requirements. As SharePoint Developer, the person will work on a variety of projects in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment. The person will be responsible for software development activities of KPMG, India.

Part of the development team, he/she will work on the full life cycle of the process, develop code and unit testing.

He/she will work closely with Technical Architect, Business Analyst, user interaction designers, and other software engineers to develop new product offerings and improve existing ones.

Additionally, the person will ensure that all development practices are in compliance with KPMG's best practices policies and procedures. This role requires quick ramp up on new technologies whenever required.

Responsibilities:


  • Understand abstract concepts and translating them into technical solutions which are based on Microsoft technologies to meet the business needs.
  • Assist Software Designer/Implementers with the creation of detailed software design specifications.
  • Develop code and unit testing of the software projects.
  • Comply with all applicable product development processes. Performs software design as well as implements and/or maintains code according to duties and responsibilities
  • Team & Technology Leadership experience

Qualifications and Experience:


  • He/She should have 812 years overall experience on.
NET and Azure

  • Proficient in Object Oriented Programming, Design Patterns with working experience in.

NET and related frameworks & technologies (C#,.NET Core, ASP.NET Core Web API/MVC, Entity Framework Core, Azure SQL, xUnit Test Framework).


  • Thorough understanding of containers and functions. Deployment experience with Kubernetes (K8s) or Functions is highly desirable.
  • Should be aware of capabilities / offerings of Azure
  • Experience in developing APIs based on RESTful architecture pattern is highly desirable.
  • Experience using Cloud Native CI/CD tools (Azure Pipelines/Circle CI/Jenkins X) is highly desirable.
  • Experience in various Azure cloud services such as Azure VMs, Azure SQL (PaaS), Azure App Insights, Azure Key Vault
  • Experience in building High Performance Compute Solutions on the cloud especially Azure Batch and Azure Cycle Cloud.
  • Experience in creation of TDD or BDD including working handinhand with design teams

Salary:
₹2,200, ₹3,100,000.00 per year
