Job Summary:
The present role is a dynamic role and shall be suitable only for Qualified Chartered Accountants and Finance professionals who have experience/ interest in Consulting/ Advisory as the same shall include both in-house as well as consulting responsibilities.
Role & Responsibilities:
Preparing, finalization, recording and maintenance of monthly, quarterly & annual accounts of member firms, affiliates and associates.
Compliance under GST Act, Income Tax Act, Companies Act, Labour Laws and other applicable statutory laws and regulations.
Internal and statutory, audit of the member firms, affiliates and associates and ensure that compliance is of very high standard.
Reconciling transactions by comparing and correcting data.
Preparing financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements, invoices, and other documents.
Creating the Annual Budget and thereafter managing monthly reports like Budget vs Actual, Cash Flow, thereby, Identifying financial status by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
Directing financial planning & performance analysis, strategy, designing KPIs, reporting financial results, variance analysis such as monthly profitability and related trends.
Spearheading the business forecasting & financial modelling to help short-term/ long-term planning of the organization, administering the generation of financial forecasts, mid-quarter estimates and business plans
Delivering functional projects, such as implementing best accounting/ controllership practice to enhance and deepen the control environment.
Automating accounting process and reducing manual efforts, setting up of SOP for business process and finance.
Determining cost of operations by establishing standard costs; collecting operational data.
Improving financial status by analyzing results; monitoring variances; identifying trends; recommending actions to management so also provide financial information to produce forecasts of business, Industry and economic conditions for use in making investment decisions.
Profit and Tax planning
Proactively monitoring funds availability in bank accounts and ensuring deployment of the same to minimize idling of funds.
Raising equity/ debt for member firms.
Assisting the Insolvency, Banking and Corporate Law Teams on analysis of financial statements and in drafting/ preparing Resolution Plans, Proposals, etc.
Advisory on Compliance, Taxation and Accounting for firm's clients
Qualification and Skills:
Qualified Chartered Accountant
Full-time/ regular MBA/PGDM/ Post Graduate Degree/ Diploma in Finance/ Economics/ Commerce or equivalent degree in Finance may also apply.
Post Qualification Experience of 1-3 years in a Consulting role in Taxation, Accounting and compliance role only.
Hands on Experience and expertise in Accounting tools like Tally, Busy, Zoho Books, etc.
Proficient in MS Excel/ Advanced MS Excel
Sound knowledge of Tax Laws and compliance
Must be tech-savvy and inquisitive to curate/ adopt new technologies
Zeal to devise out of box strategies
Vision to establish, implement and improvise
Sharp modelling and analytical skills
Interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with various management levels
Strong enterprising skills
Work independently or with limited supervision.
