Responsibilities for SAP tester

  • Contribute to the sections of the test plan
  • Plan, develop, and execute functional and regression test scripts
  • Maintain test script repository
  • Develop expertise in tax calculations testing
  • Conduct security rolebased testing
  • Contribute to functional and nonfunctional tests for cloud services
  • Contribute to setting up testing pipelines
  • Collecting, Documenting and maintaining requirements from relevant stakeholders
  • Prototype quality tools
  • Creating high level presentations

Qualifications for SAP tester

  • Associates degree in Computer Science or Information Systems, along with two to four years of prior experience in quality assurance methodologies or software testing, or equivalent education or experience is preferred
  • Hand on experience in a SAP Implementation testing of functional modules like SAP PP/QM and APO a plus
  • SAP Materials Management, PP experience in Purchasing (Direct and Indirect), MRP, Inventory Management, Warehouse Management and RF
  • Experience in project management and QA methodology
  • Mandatory
  • Responsible for creating Test Scenarios and Test cases according to the business/functional requirements

Skills for SAP Tester

  • Desired skills for SAP tester include:
  • Software Development Life Cycle
  • Testing SAP systems
  • Any other training activities using existing documentation
  • Application
  • Formal QA and testing methodologies
  • Processes and country specific information up to date by attending recurring courses

Desired experience for SAP tester includes:

  • Experience in SAP TAO, HP Quality Center, HPE Unified Functional Testing (UFT) & Load Runner a plus
  • Has participated in Regression, Integration and User Acceptance testing of large SAP implementations
  • Flexibility and ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a dynamic environment with tight deadlines
  • 2+ years of experience in SAP PM/EAM Functional development plus SAP QA Testing experience
