RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for maximizing business value by prioritizing and coordinating the efforts of the product scrum teams, including maintaining a product roadmap and product backlog.
Responsible for coordinating scrum team efforts to ensure alignment with the product roadmap.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in a business-related field or the equivalent work experience.
Preferably 2+ years experience within product ownership or product analyst roles within an agile environment.
Working knowledge of agile practices
Experience with project management including how to work with deadlines and how to estimate the duration of a project.
Proficient in Excel, SharePoint, Teams, Dynamics AX, and other project/ agile management software as needed.
Proven experience in people management, strategic planning, risk management, and change management
Demonstrated soft skills, including experience in facilitation, diplomacy, and conflict resolution.
Ability to interact with internal and external customers to interpret business requirements.
Ability to understand and interact with technically-oriented team members.
Ability to effectively communicate cross-organizationally and work well in a small team, fast-paced environment.
A highly motivated, well-organized, self-starter desiring an opportunity to grow professionally.
Must have a "can-do" attitude.
Is flexible to work outside of normal business hours and to travel (15% or less of the time)
This position requires someone who has excellent virtual meeting etiquette, possesses exceptional interpersonal skills, is customer service driven and fully embraces the KM Two Customer Philosophy with every interaction.
The ability to follow oral and written instructions.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Understands and connects market conditions, overall corporate objectives and development timelines to create and maintain a product roadmap that lays out a 6 quarter high-level vision of the product's major features and changes planned.
Manages the product backlog by maintaining a list of all development items, including support tickets, prioritized based on business value and corporate objectives.
Communicates with all stakeholders to ensure the roadmap is clearly understood and lines up with corporate objectives.
Communicates with the agile team to make sure the overall roadmap, release, and sprint goals are all understood.
Manages 3rd party relationships as needed for product support.
Manages relationship between business users and the scrum team to ensure the product development aligns with the user's needs
Oversees scrum team development to ensure that each item being worked on brings business value and aligns with the overall product roadmap, including making decisions for which items should be delayed or not completed and determining when an item is "done".
Monitors and reports on ROI achieved by product enhancements to stakeholders and executives.
Creates and completes annual professional development plan, reporting updates on a quarterly basis.
