Position Overview:
The Hospital Receptionist plays a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and administrative support to patients, visitors, and staff members.
This role serves as the first point of contact for individuals entering the hospital, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Front Desk Operations:
Greet and welcome patients, visitors, and staff with a friendly and professional demeanor.
Direct and guide individuals to their desired destinations within the hospital premises.
Answer incoming calls and route them to appropriate departments or personnel.
Provide accurate and timely information about hospital services, policies, and procedures.
Appointment Scheduling:
Schedule patient appointments, tests, and procedures using the hospital's electronic scheduling system.
Coordinate with medical staff and departments to ensure efficient scheduling and utilization of resources.
Confirm upcoming appointments and notify patients of any necessary preparations.
Patient Registration and Documentation:
Collect and record accurate patient information during the registration process.
Maintain patient records in compliance with privacy regulations.
Collaborate with the billing department to ensure accurate and up-to-date financial information.
Visitor Assistance:
Provide directions and information to visitors, helping them navigate the hospital premises.
Enforce hospital security policies and procedures to ensure the safety of patients, visitors, and staff.
Multitasking and Communication:
Manage a high volume of tasks simultaneously, including handling phone calls, walk-in inquiries, and administrative duties.
Communicate effectively with patients, family members, medical staff, and other hospital departments.
Administrative Support:
Assist with various administrative tasks, such as data entry, filing, and maintaining office supplies.
Collaborate with other administrative staff to ensure smooth hospital operations.
Qualifications and Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in customer service or healthcare administration is a plus.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail.
Proficiency in using computer systems and office software.
Ability to remain composed and professional in fast-paced and stressful situations.
Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a healthcare setting, is beneficial but not mandatory.
Pay:
Up to ₹15,000.00 per month
