About the role:
As an On-Field Sales Representative, you will be responsible for generating sales and fostering business relationships in the B2B segment.
Your primary role will involve visiting retail outlets, showrooms, OEMs, distributors, architects, and interior designers to promote our products and services.
Success in this role will require excellent communication skills, a strong network in the industry, and the ability to effectively identify and pursue sales opportunities.
Responsibilities:
1.
Sales Visits:
- Conduct regular visits to retail outlets, showrooms, OEMs, distributors, architects, and interior designers to introduce our products and services.
- Identify potential customers and establish new business relationships to expand our client base.
- Present product features, benefits, and pricing to prospects, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing agreements to secure sales deals.
- Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and facilitate repeat business.
2.
Outstanding Payment Management:
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding payments from clients, ensuring timely collection of receivables.
- Communicate with clients regarding overdue payments and resolve any billing discrepancies or disputes.
- Coordinate with the finance department to track payment statuses and reconcile accounts receivable.
- Implement strategies to minimize outstanding payments and improve cash flow.
3.
Relationship Building:
- Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders in the industry, including retailers, distributors, architects, and interior designers.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to expand your professional network and promote our brand.
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as marketing and product development, to address customer needs and market trends.
4.
Market Research:
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments.
- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities for business growth and product innovation.
- Provide feedback to management regarding customer preferences, market demands, and competitor strategies.
5.
Sales Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of sales visits, customer interactions, and sales transactions in the CRM system.
- Prepare sales reports and forecasts for management review, highlighting key performance metrics and sales trends.
- Analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to optimize sales performance.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in B2B sales roles, with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in spoken and written English.
- Strong network and connections in the retail, showroom, OEM, distributor, architect, and interior designer sectors.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and decisionmakers.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and capitalize on sales opportunities.
- Resultsoriented with a focus on achieving sales objectives and driving business growth.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
Salary:
₹25, ₹35,000.00 per month
