Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

Installation and Configuration:

Install and configure Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12 and Oracle Database.

Database Administration:

Manage Oracle databases, including backup and recovery, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
Implement and maintain database security (user accounts, roles, privileges).

Performance Tuning and Optimization:

Monitor database performance and recommend improvements.
Perform SQL tuning and optimization.

-
Backup and Recovery:

Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies.
Perform regular backups and restore databases as necessary.

-
Cloning and Refreshes:

Manage data migration and environment cloning.

-
Patching and Maintenance:

Ensure the systems are compliant with security and regulatory requirements.

Monitoring and Troubleshooting:

Set up and maintain monitoring tools and scripts.

Documentation:

Document standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices.

Support and Collaboration:

Provide support for development, test, and production environments.

Qualifications:

-
Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience:

35 years of experience as an Oracle Apps DBA.
Proven experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R1
Strong knowledge of Oracle Database 11g/12c/19c.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL.
Experience with Unix/Linux operating systems.
Knowledge of Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC), Oracle ASM, Data Guard, and RMAN.
Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is a plus.

Certifications:

Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) is preferred.

Soft Skills:

Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Oracle Fusion Middleware.
Knowledge of middleware technologies such as WebLogic Server.
Experience in managing largescale, highavailability environments.
