    Description

    IC & Field Support Engineer

     Executing OS installation and recovery processes on diverse Original Equipment Manufacturer

    (OEM) desktop and server systems.

     Carrying out disaster recovery procedures and data backup tasks as necessary.

     Undertaking tasks such as server power-up, rack setup, and cabling, followed by handover to

    internal provisioning teams.

     Deploying, marking, and mending fiber, copper, and telecom cables, along with patch panel

    systems.

     Expanding operational support encompassing failure mode analysis, root cause identification,

    maintenance assistance, best practices, procedural reviews, and more.

     Installing and configuring network and server hardware according to business needs.

     The ability to perform all physical duties as required includes working under a raised floor and

    physical ability to lift and/or move up to 35kg.

     Collaborating in intricate system troubleshooting to address critical technical issues; testing and

    debugging novel server and network hardware components and configurations.

     Managing, configuring, and supervising virus protection software and email applications.

     Overseeing master control terminals to track the performance of networks and computer systems.

     Regulating computer network access and utilization.

     Devising, setting up, and evaluating networking software, computer hardware, and operating system

    software.

     Proficient comprehension of network infrastructure and hardware.

     Proficient in implementing, managing, and troubleshooting network infrastructure devices, including

    wireless access points, firewall, routers, switches, and controllers.

     Expertise in application transport and network infrastructure protocols.

     Aptitude in generating precise network diagrams and documentation to aid in designing and

    strategizing network communication systems.

     Furnishing specific and comprehensive information for hardware and software selection.

     Capacity to swiftly master new or unknown technology and products via documentation and online

    resources.

     Proficient in communicating and collaborating with stakeholders at all levels within and beyond IT

    and external to the organization.

     Self-motivated, adept at independent work, but comfortable in team environments.

     Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.

     Reliable and adaptable when necessary.

     Experience with network LAN, WAN, and security.

    Education

     Bachelor's degree in computer studies from a recognized University

     A+, N+

     CCNA/CCNP or any equivalent certifications will be preferred.

    Experience

     2 - 5 years relevant work experience in industry
