    Description

    We are hiring an Engineer Seating-Foam Design at Tata Technologies in Pune.

    The CAD Engineer will be responsible for creating CATIA V5/UG NX Body Engineering CAD concepts and solutions for Seating projects. This role involves generating CAD geometry and drawings for various seating projects.

    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Engineering design and development experience in Automotive Seating System Seating Foam and Plastic, complete seat, etc., following industry standards and Guidelines.
    • Proficient skills in CATIA V5/UG NX software.
    • Proficiency in Part Modeling, Solid & Surface Modeling, 2D, 3D Drawing Preparation Assembly.
    • Checking assembly and packaging constraints for adjustment possibilities.
    • Checking process constraints based on guidelines.
    • Creating assembly models and skeleton using Catia V5/UG NX.
    • Good knowledge of CAD Methodology and best practices for Part Design, Assembly Design, Drafting & Kinematics.
    • Ensuring data accuracy and required maturity levels to meet customer expectations.
    • Knowledge in Plastic attachment features.
    • Understanding of product development phases and GD&T, tolerance stack-ups, DFMEA, DFM, and DFA.
    • Ability to manage clearance to interface parts and ensure manufacturing feasibility.
    • Escalating issues to Lead Engineer if needed.
    • Meeting all project deliverables and identifying risks.
    • Extensive experience in using CATIA V5/UG NX.
    • Strong design skills, with experience in seating systems.
    • Proven track record in automotive sector delivery.
    • Team Centre Engineering (TC E).
    • Engineering knowledge in component/system design, function, performance, production & manufacturing requirements.

    Excellent communication skills are essential, with proficiency in Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.

    • Qualification: BE/B. Tech in Mechanical/Production/Automotive Engineering.
