Job Description - Student Counselor

Student Guidance:

Assist students in exploring their interests, goals, and career aspirations to align them with suitable academic programs.

Admissions Process:

Communicate admission decisions to applicants and provide feedback when necessary.

Counseling:

Offer oneonone counseling sessions to address questions, concerns, and challenges related to the admissions process.
Provide support and guidance to students who may be facing difficulties in meeting admission requirements.

Information Sessions and Events:

Conduct information sessions, campus tours, and open houses to promote the institution and its programs to potential students and their families.
Represent the institution at college fairs, high schools, and community events to attract and recruit prospective students.

Data Management:

Maintain accurate and uptodate records of prospective and admitted students.
Generate reports and analyze data related to admissions to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Collaboration:

Collaborate with academic departments, faculty, and other staff members to ensure a smooth and efficient admissions process.
Work closely with other counselors and admissions professionals to share best practices and enhance the overall effectiveness of the admissions team.

Marketing and Outreach:

Assist in the development of marketing materials and outreach strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified applicants.
Utilize various communication channels, including social media, to engage with prospective students and disseminate relevant information.

Continuous Learning:

Stay informed about changes in admission policies, educational trends, and relevant regulations.
Attend professional development workshops and conferences to enhance knowledge and skills in college admissions counseling.

Pay:
₹15, ₹45,000.00 per month
