System Architect [Sys Arch] Role Description


Responsibilities:


  • Provide support to define the system attributes based on customer requirements
  • Select preferred architectural solution and reject not feasible requirements at appropriate time
  • Ensure traceability from requirements to architecture
  • Create or adapt architecture models and follow architecture methods
  • Predict and inform about weaknesses and risks at early stage of the project
  • Provide architecture in time to lead implementation
  • Adapt or create technical safety concept
  • Inform relevant stakeholders of availability of approved (reviewed) system architecture
  • Systematic analyzing and formulation of corresponding solutions
  • Identification and handling of dependencies
  • Maintaining design integrity
  • Moderation and communication with different stakeholders

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Experience in Systems Engineering (V-Model) process and methods
  • Experience in Requirements Engineering preferably in automotive domain
  • Experience in system architecture design principles (SysML or UML)
  • Good understanding of hardware software integration topics in mechatronics systems
  • Experience in functional safety and ISO 26262 especially chapters 3 &
  • Experience in A-SPICE and AGILE methodologies
  • Knowledge of system analysis and interface management

Customer Requirement Manager
Responsibilities include ownership and managing tasks for Customer Requirement Manager for Application Project.

  • Customer requirements elicitation with support of R&D experts.
  • Technical window between customer and the R&D team for all Technical requirements relevant to the project.
  • Break down of system & function technical specification into specific components of system.
  • Ensuring of traceability from requirements together with test management.
  • Optimize and adapt related process based on experiences and customer needs.
  • Creation of requirement status using Dashboards.
  • Consolidate requirements document structure and content
  • Deliver high quality product to internal & external customers.

  • Plan the activity of the "Customer Requirement Manager" for all ongoing and future projects/workpackages along with function package related activities
  • Support in effort estimation of new workpackages (Shared with Sytem team leads)
Quality / Productivity


  • Ensure high quality of the work products delivered (target zero defect).
  • Achieve the planning and delivery of work products on time.
  • Support in team members for reviews of workproducts according to their technical experience.
  • Control and promote the respect of defined VED processes.
External / Internal Relations


  • Increase interactions inside the CRM & Systems team (team building).
  • Achieve self technical competency level to expert state.
  • Support team to increasing competency of team by trainings.
Talent Development

Support in mentoring of colleagues as well as trainer for few competencies

Organization Building / Support

Contribute to innovation within the team in any form (including process improvements)


Profile:


Offer:

Project and/or Process Experience

Experience in Automotive SW development and testing.

Experience in CAN/CAN-FD/FlexRay protocols and the corresponding tools.(e.g. Vector Canalyzer, Canoe, Canape )

Experience in UDS/KWP protocols and the corresponding tools.(ISO 14229, ISO 14230)

Experience in Configuration Management and Requirement Management tools.

Domain Expertise in automotive - EBS is preferable.

Experience in Autosar and Safety standards (IEC61508/ISO26262, ECER13H)


Education:

Graduate / Post-Graduate in Electronics/Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering


Professional Experience:

  • 8 years of Software Development experience in Automotive Embedded Domain

Project and/or Process Experience:
Experience in Automotive Embedded SW development using C Language.

Experience in Automotive Mechatronics Control Systems

Experience in 32-bit multi-core Microcontroller and related SW Architecture

Know-how or Experience in AUTOSAR (preferable)

Experience in Configuration Management and Requirement Management tools

Domain Expertise in Automotive Active Safety Systems is preferable

Know-how or Experience in Functional Safety and related Safety Architecture (IEC61508/ISO26262)


Intercultural / International Experience:
Germany (preferable)
