Responsibilities

Review and analyse business requirements.
Collaborate with QA Leads and other team members to develop effective test strategies and test scenarios.
Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyse results.
Design and document detailed test cases and defects.
Report bugs and errors to development teams in JIRA.
Review assigned issues; identify, group, and prioritize issues to enhance testing efficiency.
Follow up on reported bugs, and escalate as required for timely project completion.
Own reported bugs and errors; collaborate with development teams, and escalate as required for timely project completion as part of agile process.
Help troubleshoot issues to find the root cause of the problem.
Create internal QA documentation and provide KT to other team members on tested features.
Perform functional, Integration, End to End, Regression, Performance, Load and Adhoc testing.
Work with team members across time zones to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
Document testing and integration into a future CI/CD pipeline.

Skills

4+ years' proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role.
Experience in AWS or equivalent qualification.
Understanding of SDLC, STLC and QA methodology.
Understanding of the workings of Scrum and Agile principles.
Experience with root cause analysis and the ability to propose viable solutions is a plus.
Working knowledge of AWS, SQL, NoSQLDB and API.
Familiarity with scripting languages like VB scripts or Typescript is a plus.
Knowledge of DevOps process, including CI/CD tools such as Jenkins/Octopus and Github.
Familiarity with test management tools, like Zephyr and Xray, is a plus
Experience with JIRA/Confluence
Experience with QA Automation tools like Selenium/Cucumber and proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
Ability to document in detail.
Effective communication skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
Analytical mind and problemsolving aptitude.
Ability to work independently and as a team.
Be a selfstarter, take initiative and have an "ownership" mentality.
Fast learner and ability to adapt.
Experience with performance testing tools, e.g. JMeter, Gatling, BlazeMeter, LoadRunner.
