Responsibilities

Design and development of our new modules from scratch
Hands on implementation of integrations with our financial institutional partners
Design and integration of new/existing databases
Ensuring the entire stack is designed and built for speed and scalability
Design and construction of our platform with the best possible encryption and security mechanisms
Design and implementation of continuous integration and deployment pipelines
Take Technology based design decisions
Own nonfunctional requirements such as security, availability, scalability etc and governance of the same [ensuring nonfunctional requirements are met]
Governance of design and design decisions
Deploy scalable backend API endpoints
Measure and resolve performance bottlenecks
Build tools, processes, and documentation to improve code quality
Document technical design

Expected Qualifications and Key Skills

Total of 6+ years of experience with at least 3+ years of experience in writing Python / Node JS. Being up to date on latest practices & versions.
3+ years of experience with payment platforms and processors
3+ years of database design and management
Familiarity with a relevant and globally supported framework of serverside technologies including NoSQL
Thorough understanding of user experience and product strategy
Experience implementing code level unit tests
Proficiency with Git / Version control
Appreciation for clean and well documented code
Experience building and maintaining a product at scale
Demonstrated proficiency with serverside development experience utilizing Java and Spring Boot /Python and related libraries
Good knowledge of design and architectural patterns and development best practices
Previous experience building scalable microservices is required
Strong RDBMS experience is required
Strong messaging experience with technologies like Kafka, RabbitMQ or similar
Strong experience on implementing DevOps processes & tools, including CD/DI, performance monitoring, logging, etc
Experience deploying to containerized environments such a Docker and Kubernetes is also a strong plus
