    Job Description

    Description:One Developer per Development Team takes the role of the Lead Developer. He/She represents a technical expert for software design and quality and closely collaborates with TDM, Development CoE and Product Owner.

    Responsibilities and Tasks: Act as consultant and empowers the other Development Team members regarding software design and development techniques.

    Drive and review technical design decisions in cooperation with the Development team.

    Foster continuous improvement process of the Development team with the goal of creating high quality software.

    Ensure that the output of the Development Team is in compliance with the Development Model (Guiding Principles, Development Handbook).

    Perform regular design and code reviews and decide on improvement measures with the Development Team.

    Consult the Development team regarding deployment-relevant aspects and dependencies§ Align actual deployments with TDM.

    Manage software deployments based on the SAP Solution Manager.

    Foster exchange of good practices with other Development Teams regarding software quality and compliance.

    Contribute actively to the Lead Developer community.

    Competencies:Full-stack S/4HANA development skills (frontend, backend and hybrid)

    Advanced software engineering skills (methods, modeling, software design)

    Development expert with strong team and communication skills, ability to convince§ Experienced in agile development; acts as role model§ Knowledge multiplier, strong analytical and design skills
