What you'll do at Ather:


EVs are poised to account for 25% share in the Indian automotive Industry by 2025 and the scooter industry will lead this shift in demand.

It is widely estimated that by 2025, 35-40% of scooters sold will be electric and we are gearing up to be able to produce and sell a million units by 2025.

This will be possible only if we deliver upto 5X growth consistently for the next few years.

To achieve this kind of growth, we have structured ourselves as a Matrix organization that believes in an Agile way of working.

Each vertical drives functional depth and expertise while each horizontal chases execution of organizational goals.

You will work as an internal consultant with all the stakeholders of operations vertical who are part of Manufacturing, Supplier Management, Warehouse and Logistics, on all people-related matters such as:

  • Gathering and forecasting hiring requirements
  • Support the structuring and design of org and closure on all peoplerelated matters
  • Resolving complex employee relations issues and addressing grievances of team members in a crossfunctional team
  • Balancing the requirements of the department and the crossfunctional team in peoplerelated matters
  • Understanding and anticipating the need for change, diagnosing the underlying issues, and building a case for change with stakeholders. Build frameworks to plan and manage the continuous process of change including dependencies, risk, potential scenarios, and options to mitigate
  • Be the custodian for employee related policies
  • Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity and retention
  • Drive performance management program; be a facilitator in driving continuous performance enhancement
  • Provides guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and other HR strategic interventions
  • Work continuously towards driving positive work environment and providing best working experience for the members
  • Work closely with the Program Management team and Department heads to improve crossfunctional relationships and increase productivity, based on the GPRIE model
  • Drive team member engagement towards the Agile way of working
  • Manage and drive resource mapping and resource loading activities for all P&Ls
  • Support the induction of new team members into crossfunctional teams
  • Provide guidance and inputs on P&L restructuring, workforce planning, policies, and other strategic HR interventions
  • Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the Talent Partners and HR Leadership Team to develop solutions, programs, and policies

What kind of experience & skills do You need for this role?

  • 2 to 4 years experience as HR Business Partner in a high growth environment with a good blend of people, business & financial acumen
  • The ability to act as a consultant and an advisor to understand issues, deep dive, and problem solve
  • The ability to take ownership for a task and drive it to closure without much supervision
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills listening, interacting, and influencing them whenever and wherever it might be required
  • Strong analytical skills, including the understanding of metrics to support plans and monitor the performance of various initiatives
  • Great written and verbal communication skills; highquality document preparation, and presentation skills

What should You have graduated in?

A Master's/MBA in HR from a Tier 2 institute
