You will be working as Project Engineer - Automation at global grade 15/14 and will be part of Process Automation Business Area for Energy Industries Division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Senior Engineering Manager and will be responsible for designing, leading, engineering, and commissioning of DCS / Automation Systems.

Your responsibilities

Being good at automation experience in Oil and Gas, Petrochemicals and Process Industries required
Having proven knowledge of Software and Hardware design, Commissioning and test experience with any of the DCS
Having hands-on experience in Application & Graphic Engineering tool with in any of the DCS. Having 800xA knowledge is an added advantage
Working knowledge on interfaces (Profibus, Modbus, OPC, IEC61850, etc.)
Basic knowledge of network engineering and IT developments (PC handling, Windows applications, PC configurations, virus scanners, interfaces, backup)
Being responsible for development of design documents and project deliverables as per Project / Process / Domain requirement specifications
Having experience in Systems hardware, Application development and Testing of a Control System as part of the solution
Having experience of Industrial Communication protocols, System configuration, Industrial networking, Cyber Security as applicable to IIOT (desirable)

Your background

BE/BTech/ Diploma – Engineering in Control and instrumentation or Equivalent
2 to 7 years of automation work experience in ABB / Emerson / Schneider/ Rockwell / Siemens / GE DCS preferable
Good knowledge /experience of development of Software for the Process as relevant to the industry domain
Experience in configuration, integration, and implementation of process control solutions for Chemical and Specialty Chemical segments
Proven knowledge of Software and Hardware design, Commissioning, and test experience with any of the DCS
Contribute to development of Application Engineering tool to optimize engineering efforts & contribute to productivity improvements and quality deliverables. Having 800xA knowledge is an added advantage
Proven experience in Graphic engineering/development in any of the DCS
