Job Summary:


Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to understand requirements and design test cases.
  • Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify defects and areas for improvement.
  • Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives.
  • Create and maintain test documentation including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
  • Identify and implement strategies to improve test coverage, efficiency, and reliability.
  • Work closely with developers to reproduce and troubleshoot issues found during testing.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members.
  • Contribute to the overall quality assurance strategy and process improvements.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience in mobile app automation testing, preferably in iOS and Android platforms.
  • Strong proficiency in automation tools such as Appium, Selenium, XCTest, Espresso, or similar.
  • Experience with programming languages such as Java, Kotlin, Swift, or Python.
  • Solid understanding of mobile app development frameworks, architecture, and design patterns.
  • Knowledge of software testing methodologies, including unit testing, integration testing, and regression testing.
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and articulate technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fastpaced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) or mobile app development.
  • Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Familiarity with cloudbased testing services (e.g., AWS Device Farm, Firebase Test Lab).
  • Knowledge of performance testing and profiling tools for mobile apps.
