Operational Risk Associate - Gurugram, Haryana, India - Varite India Pvt Ltd
Description
Assist the Designated Person for Operational Risk Management to maintain an effective risk management framework in accordance with Central Bank of Ireland and European Union rules and regulations.
- Collaborate with internal business and risk teams to identify, monitor, and manage enterprise and operational risks. Challenge risks and processes as needed.
- Partner with business partners on the completion of Risk and Control Self Assessments, Risk Indicators, updates to internal policies and Risk Registers, development and enhancement to the Risk Framework.
- Compilation of Risk Reporting to senior management and Boards.
- Partner with colleagues across Enterprise Risk to synthesize risk reporting for oversight purposes.
Skills:
- 3+ years of Operational Risk or Enterprise Risk management related experience, preferably within the financial services industry
- Experience in preparing reporting for Committees and Boards combined with an ability to communicate effectively with key stakeholders required
- Experience developing and evaluating risk scenarios, use of internal and external loss data and the quantification of financial impacts would be advantageous
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify emerging risks, summarise issues and explain risk trends.
Education:
BS/BA required, preferably Business, Finance, or Risk Management
