60 Decibels is a tech-powered impact measurement company that makes it easy to listen to the people who matter most.

We've been in business as an independent entity since early 2019, when we spun out of the global Impact Investor Acumen.

We believe that the best way to understand social impact is by talking to the people experiencing that impact.

It sounds obvious when you say it, but that is not the typical practice for many impact investors, corporations and foundations working to create social change.

We collect social impact data directly from beneficiaries (customers / employees / suppliers) using our network of 1000+ trained research assistants in 75+ countries.

We do it quickly and without the fuss typically associated with measuring social impact.

Our research assistants speak directly to customers to understand their lived experience; and our team turns all this data into benchmarked social performance reports, with accompanying insights, to help our clients demonstrate and improve social performance.

By making impact measurement simple, scalable, and comparable, we not only enable organizations to improve their products and services; we also help transform what it means to credibly measure impact, ensuring that the voices of those who matter most are always part of the story.

If you're similarly passionate about our mission and excited about the opportunity to help grow a dynamic business, we're looking for an Employee Experience Associate to join our team.

About the Role

The Employee Experience Associate will join our small but mighty People Operations (PO) team under the direction of our Head of People Operations.

Because the success of our business is tied intrinsically to the success of our team members, this is a highly integrated and cross-functional role.

You will work with our regional and functional leads to ensure that their teams are sufficiently resourced and thriving, and you will build and manage feedback systems to maintain a "pulse" on the organization as we grow, identifying and designing new programs to enable team members to grow and improve.

More specifically, the Employee Experience Associate will:
Serve as a regional point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, directing them to appropriate resources.

Work closely with the Head of People Operations to interpret and implement our employee handbook policies to personnel cases that arise in your respective geography, maintaining accurate records of all personnel cases.

Maintain relationships with local legal counsel to ensure that we are up to date with the local regulatory environment.

Act as an ambassador for the PO team by closely embodying our company values and coaching team members on our PO policies and philosophy.

Continuously execute, iterate and improve on all aspects of the employee experience lifecycle, from the first 90 days to the exit interview.

Assist in planning, organizing and executing employee-engagement activities, including team-building events, recognition programs, and wellness initiatives.

Maintain our feedback systems and synthesize the information to report actionable data on areas of strength and growth for the organization.

Manage benefits management and administration for your local geography, in partnership with the local Finance Manager and the Head of People Operations.

Provide support to performance management for their local geography and project manage these workflows in partnership with the Head of People Operations.

Partner with regional and functional leads to identify and fill resourcing gaps in your local geography.
Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for their local geography, including development of onboarding logistics and curriculum. Coach others in the People Team on best practices for recruitment in their respective geographies.
Provide strategic support in building an inclusive organization that values collaboration, growth, diversity, and equity.
Support other initiatives and work as may be required from time to time in a startup environment.

About You

First and foremost, you bring compassion and dedication to this work because it matters to you.

You have a bias towards action:

You successfully balance flexibility and rigor, using informed judgment to make decisions. You model critical thinking and introspection, taking strategic risks and growing from mistakes.

You are decisive and bold, have a growth mindset, are eager to change the status quo, and know the value of being a part of an effective team.

You take pride in enabling the best work of others.

3+ years of professional experience, preferably in operations, project management, systems design and/or consulting within a social enterprise or start up environment
Experience managing full-cycle recruiting
