    Description

    Overview

    We are looking for a skilled E-commerce Manager who can be a valuable addition to our ever-expanding sports business. If you are a resourceful individual who is solution-oriented and can work autonomously in a high-growth and fast-paced environment, we would like to hear from you.

    Our ideal candidate has exceptional communication and negotiation skills. The candidate must have a customer centric mindset and be capable of interacting with people from different career levels within and outside the organization. Ultimately, the candidate should be able to incorporate online tools to create relationships and build our brand.

    Key Duties

    • The E-commerce Manager will create and maintain product listings on all the brands' websites as well as e-commerce platforms like Amazon, Flipkart, Nykaa, and Meesho to name a few, with a larger goal to amplify sales on the various channels.
    • Lead all channels of digital marketing including SMS, emails, and WhatsApp.
    • Manage and update information about products (including specifications, images, pricing, discounts etc) to be uploaded on E-commerce platforms and our websites.
    • Manage inventory records as well as plan, forecast, and analyse sales-related metrics to inform restocking.
    • Manage ageing inventory and design creative campaigns to liquidate the same on online platforms.
    • Analyse online performance for sales, traffic acquisition, conversion, and A/B testing across platforms to create reports and generate insights to inform decisions based on data.
    • Manage coordination with the order processing team to ensure smooth and accurate order fulfilment.
    • Manage and respond to customer reviews, feedback, and complaints to ensure excellent client service. This includes handling returns and maintaining data for the same to ensure issues resulting in the returns are addressed.
    • Ideate, plan, execute, and track product advertisements and promotional campaigns to drive revenue and profits in line with targets.
    • Liaison with online platforms for deals and other promotional opportunities for our brands.
    • Manage campaigns and ensure that marketing collaterals are up to date and available in time for all festivals, holidays, and other important milestones in the calendar year.
    • Strategize to improve Google ranking for all brands.
    • Research and provide expertise on the latest best practices in the E- commerce industry and ensure the timely execution of new capabilities and guidelines across all portals.
    • Monitor product prices of competitors and the deals they are offering.
    • Coordinate with web developers to provide them the information they need and ensure that website landing pages are updated from time to time.
    • Coordinate photo shoots for the targeted products to strengthen sales and promotional activities.

    Experience and Skills

    • Background and knowledge of SEM & SEO
    • Experience in Google Analytics
    • Well versed in email, SMS, and WhatsApp marketing
    • Negotiation and vendor management skills
    • Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities
    • Ability to work calmly under pressure and meet tight deadlines
    • Team player, with a resourceful can-do attitude, who thrives in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    Preference

    • Proven work experience as an E-commerce manager or a similar role
    • Strong interest in sports is advantageous
    • Content management experience on digital channels
    • Proactive applicant with a thorough knowledge of digital marketing
