PURPOSE OF THE JOB

  • To assure the economic and financial management of the company procedures and ensuring the risks and the opportunities are followed in order to meet the project financial targets
  • To ensure actual costs recorded and guarantee the analysis of the ETC of a given work Package
  • To ensure that WP QCD commitment is properly backedup/documented and monitored on a monthly basis
  • Supports the work Package owner in the controlling/financial management of this Work packages

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES

Responsibilities:


  • Ensure the necessary conditions for achievement of the Project's financial targets
  • Be the economic and financial advisor to the project Manager
  • Prepare, along with the PM, the periodic Project Reviews, including the Project cost monitoring and provide all the relevant financial analysis
  • Control the project results through close involvement with the project manager
  • Assure customer invoicing is done as soon as possible and play an active role in achieving payment from customer in due time. Process supplier invoices
  • Use of project processes and tools (ODYC, SAP, etc.)
  • Specifically followup the implementation of cash improvement actions and promote the cash culture in the project
  • Manage the budget/forecast of the project
  • Manage the order placement process for Work Packages
  • Review the contract database data from sites and its compliance with last SPR/s decisions
  • Participate in meetings and all decision making concerning financial or contractual aspects of the project
  • Challenge the cost to complete in order to maximize the project margin
  • Control & backup the WP costs elements for a tender and ensures commitment is obtained from the operational managers
  • Support the work package owner in the financial management of this work package
  • Support the WP Owner in the WP Review with the project/Platform
  • Calculate the WP costs since Situation 0
  • Prepare and review WP Report: Actual & cost at completion, ensure individual risks are properly assessed and mitigation plans in place
  • Review and analyse WP working capital (inventories in particular)

MAIN REQUIRED COMPETENCES

Educational Requirements

Mandatory:


  • Master's degree in Finance or equivalent (CA / CMA)

Desirable:


Experience

Mandatory:


  • 69 years of experience in Project Controlling / Costing / Corporate Finance
  • Excellent MS Excel skills

Desirable:


  • Experience in long term project accounting / manufacturing organization is a plus
