Description

Transporting Goods:

A driver for PK Textiles might be responsible for transporting têxtile products, fabrics, garments, or raw materials between different locations, such as manufacturing facilities, warehouses, distribution centers, and retail outlets.


Loading and Unloading:

Depending on the nature of the têxtiles being transported, the driver may need to assist with loading and unloading goods onto and off of the delivery vehicle.

This could involve handling rolls of fabric, boxes of clothing, or other têxtile items.


Route Planning:
Planning the most efficient routes for deliveries or pickups to ensure timely and accurate transportation of goods. This may involve using navigation tools, maps, and knowledge of local roads and traffic patterns.


Delivery Documentation:
Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, including documenting the quantity and condition of goods delivered. This documentation may be essential for inventory management and customer orders.


Communication:

Effectively communicating with warehouse staff, supervisors, and customers to provide updates on delivery schedules, delays, or any issues that may arise during transportation.


Vehicle Maintenance:

Ensuring that the delivery vehicle is properly maintained, including regular inspections, checking fluid levels, and addressing minor maintenance issues.

Reporting any mechanical problems promptly.


Customer Service:
Interacting with customers and clients in a professional and courteous manner. This could include delivering goods to specific locations within a facility, such as stockrooms or display areas.


Safety:
Adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations while operating the delivery vehicle. This includes wearing seat belts, obeying speed limits, and following safe driving practices.


Quality Control:
Inspecting goods before loading and ensuring that they are properly secured during transport to prevent damage.


Inventory Management:

Collaborating with warehouse or inventory teams to ensure accurate tracking of goods and materials being transported, which may involve scanning barcodes or using inventory management systems.


Salary:
From ₹20,000.00 per month
