The Role Responsibilities

Strategy

  • Achieve personal sales target.
  • Segment focus, customer focus needsbased selling.
  • Convince Client (Telephone Non face to face ) for Asset, liability and Wealth products.
  • Assist in implementation of Promotions and below the line activities in conjunction with the Regional Plan for new acquisition of customers.
  • Derive insights to Competitor Sales activities and effectively counter the efforts.

Business

  • Achieving assigned full year objectives as per annual P3 document.
  • Achieve budget Sales target and FLIP qualification.

Processes

  • Ensure adherence to all internal and external regulations.
  • To embed Operational Risk monitoring as an integral part of the business process. Towards this, to effectively carry out the assigned role, if any, under Compliance Risk Management and Operational Risk Management Assurance.

Risk Management

  • Take personal responsibility for understanding the risk and compliance requirements of my role. Understand and comply with applicable laws and regulations, the Groups policies, procedures and the Group Code of Conduct.
  • Effectively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk and compliance matters.
  • Contribute to a culture in which all stakeholders feel safe to raise concerns and where risk and compliance matters are addressed and misconduct appropriately dealt with.
  • To be at the forefront of building a culture of good governance and establish a good risk and control climate by closely monitoring issues such as compliance breaches, risk limit breaches, internal control failures etc. identified through periodic selfassessments, through internal audits or supervisory comments and lead the teams to put in place appropriate and timely remediation plans.

Governance

  • To track and manage all loose revert items related to Business Banking.
  • Conduct CDD, MLP and TCF diligently.


  • Zero tolerance

  • Fraud, Misselling.
  • Adhere to all policies, guidelines and procedures, comply with local regulatory requirements.
  • To comply with all applicable money laundering prevention procedures and, in particular, report any suspicious activity to the Unit Money Laundering Prevention Officer and line manager To ensure Timely completion of E learning for the team Others.

Regulatory and Business Conduct

  • Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group's Values and Code of Conduct.
  • Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.

  • Graduate. MBA's will be preferred.
  • Sales experience of 3 years in Retail banking Industry / NBFC.
  • AMFI, IRDA (any other relevant certification) certification will be preferred.
