Key Responsibilities:

Import and Export Coordination:

  • Plan and coordinate the import and export of goods to ensure timely delivery and compliance with international regulations.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to optimize shipping processes.

Customs Compliance:

  • Stay updated on international trade regulations, tariffs, and customs laws to ensure compliance.
  • Prepare and submit all necessary documentation, including customs declarations, invoices, and shipping documents.

Logistics Management:
Coordinate transportation and logistics activities to optimize efficiency and minimize costs. - Monitor and track shipments, providing regular updates to relevant stakeholders.


Risk Management:

  • Identify and mitigate potential risks related to customs compliance, shipping delays, and other logístical challenges.
  • Implement strategies to address any issues that may arise during the import/export process.

Vendor and Partner Collaboration:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and other relevant partners.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions to ensure favorable agreements for the company.

Documentation Management:

  • Oversee the preparation and accuracy of all import/export documentation.
  • Ensure that all required permits, licenses, and certificates are obtained for international shipments.

Cost Optimization:

  • Work proactively to optimize shipping costs while maintaining service quality.
  • Evaluate and negotiate freight rates and terms with carriers and logistics providers

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an Import Export Manager, preferably in the solar or renewable energy industry.
  • Strong knowledge of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and documentation requirements.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fastpaced and dynamic environment.

Qualification / Knowledge / Skills:
Graduate / Post Graduate / MBA from reputed institute
Background Experience: 3-5 years' experience
