Job Description :

As an Apigee Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining API solutions using the Apigee platform.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams including software developers, architects, and business analysts to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient API solutions.

Responsibilities :

Design, develop, and implement API proxies using Apigee Edge platform.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define API specifications.
Build and maintain API products, including configuring security policies, quotas, and analytics.
Implement API governance policies and best practices to ensure consistency, security, and performance.
Integrate APIs with backend systems, thirdparty services, and databases.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to API functionality, performance, and security.
Develop custom code, scripts, and plugins to extend the capabilities of the Apigee platform.
Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in API management technologies and best practices.

Requirements :

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience working as an Apigee Developer or similar role.
Proficiency in Apigee Edge platform, including API proxy development, configuration, and management.
Strong understanding of RESTful API design principles and best practices.
Experience with API security standards such as OAuth, JWT, and SSL/TLS.
Familiarity with API management concepts including versioning, rate limiting, and caching.
Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, Java, Python, or
Excellent problemsolving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Ability to work independently and in a teamoriented, collaborative environment.
