    Role Description:

    This role is in one of our portfolio companies who are a leading Core Baking Platform provider based out of France. For more information, please visit

    As a TypeScript Developer within our dynamic team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our Core Banking Platform, a cutting-edge web and mobile application suite hosted in the Cloud and distributed as SaaS. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the seamless integration and functionality of TypeScript across our technical stack, contributing to backend aspects of our projects. With a focus on high-quality standards, you will leverage your expertise in TypeScript and related technologies to bring innovative features to life, enhance our testing pyramid, and drive improvements in software design.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Implement features while adhering to the highest quality standards.
    2. Contribute to backend development efforts.
    3. Enhance our unit testing pyramid to ensure robust and reliable software solutions.
    4. Actively propose improvements to the software design to enhance performance and user experience.
    5. Provide technical expertise to support our support team in troubleshooting and resolving issues.
    6. Share your knowledge and experience with team members, fostering a collaborative learning environment.
    7. Engage in regular technical monitoring to stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.

    Skills / Qualifications:

    • A minimum of 3 years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on TypeScript.
    • Demonstrated expertise in TypeScript and familiarity with our technical stack, including Nest, Prisma, MariaDB, Debian, Docker, Material UI, React JS, Gitlab CI, PHPStorm, RabbitMQ, and Elastic Search.
    • A strong advocate for clean code, Test-Driven Development (TDD), and software craftsmanship principles.
    • Knowledge of hexagonal / clean architecture (ports and adapters), Domain-Driven Design (DDD) is highly desirable.
    • An ideal candidate would have working experience in NestJS Framework with Prisma ORM having used Jest framework for backend unit testing.
    • Familiarity with CQRS (Command and Query Responsibility Segregation) related concepts highly desired.
    • Demonstrate keen interest in new technologies and a continuous drive to stay ahead of the curve.
    • Proficiency in working with relational databases and understanding of big data challenges.
    • Experience with Docker is advantageous.
    • Familiarity with banking and fintech domain practices is desirable.
    • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.
