We are looking for a talented compositing artist who can work within a professional team to develop high-quality medical and scientific animations.

Your Role:

Although primarily a 2D role within the 3D world of CGI and VFX (visual effects), compositors need a thorough understanding of the CG process combined with relevant artistic skills
Responsible for constructing the final image by combining layers of previously created material
Ensure assigned shots fit the continuity of the sequence
Ensure ontime delivery of effects elements within set production schedule
Must be a keen observer of reality with nearperfect understanding of relative scale and dimensions, especially in terms of human anatomy
Maintain or exceed consistent level of productivity while meeting deadlines and producing highquality work
Collaborate and communicate with other members of 3D team and other departments to ensure CG elements are seamlessly incorporated into the shot
Assist with project cleanup and archiving on an ongoing basis
Participate in review as a team member to determine various design solutions by providing feedback to other members of the production
Ability to work quickly and efficiently under tight deadlines
Follow design guidelines, shot naming conventions, and other technical constraints
Keep up to date with the latest developments in compositing tools and technologies
Follow company creative head and production pipeline, proposing approaches that stimulate positive enhancements
Ability to solve complex technical problems that occur within the environment
Effective timemanagement skills, with ability to meet deadlines and follow instructions and established protocols/procedures

Your Experience:

Degree in fine arts or equivalent with a thorough understanding of anatomy, or 5+ years industry experience specializing in compositing
Extensive knowledge of current compositing software such as Adobe After Effects and Nuke
Knowledge of other various software programs, including Photoshop
Experience in composition, color, light, and shadow
