Responsibilities

  • Report and track defects using bug tracking systems, and work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
  • Perform regression testing to ensure that previously identified defects have been fixed and do not reoccur.
  • Conduct compatibility testing across various mobile platforms, devices, and screen sizes.
  • Design and implement automation test scripts using relevant tools and frameworks.
  • Maintain and enhance the automation testing framework to improve efficiency and reliability.
  • Execute automated test suites and analyze test results to identify failures and issues.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define and improve the mobile testing strategy and processes.
  • Perform data validation and testing to ensure the integrity, accuracy, and completeness of analytics data.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Mobile Application Tester, with a strong focus on both manual and automation testing.
  • Proficient in using mobile testing tools and frameworks, such as Appium, Selenium, Espresso, XCUITest, etc.
  • Handson experience with bug tracking systems and test management tools.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies and experience working in an Agile environment.
  • Solid understanding of mobile platforms (iOS, Android) and their respective design guidelines.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining automation frameworks using scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively collaborate with crossfunctional teams.
