Manufacturing Production Workers focus on setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting manufacturing production (i.e.

, machining, processing, assembly, or packaging) equipment including:

Operating machine tool, chemical processing, assembly, or packaging equipment to manufacture products according to production specifications, schedules, volume/cost/wastage targets, and quality standards.

Moving, packing, and sorting raw materials or finished goods. Monitoring the quality of output to identify, discard, or re-manufacture faulty products.

Maintaining accurate daily production records as input to manufacturing performance analysis An Experienced Para-Professional (S2) requires basic knowledge of job procedures and tools obtained through work experience and may require vocational or technical education.

May require the following proficiency:
Works under moderate supervision. Problems are typically of a routine nature, but may at times require interpretation or deviation from standard procedures. Communicates information that requires some explanation or interpretation.

Your responsibilities

Manage the warehouse with safety first policy.
Design and optimize the rack layout & material flow to gain high efficiency.
Modify the warehouse layout for kitting and sequencing area, to achieve shortest movement in warehouse and good usage of warehouse space.
Kitting of material as per the Production Order and Pick List.
In charge of material feeding to production line timely and accurately and keep minimum WIP at the same time.
Responsible for periodical inventory counting as per need.
Provides logistics support on crossfunctional teams.
Be responsible for designing the FG delivery package to ensure picking efficiency, packing efficiency, and safety and cost efficiency.
Continuously improve logistic efficiency by introducing automation technology, especially for the logistic process and warehouse setup.
Lead and participate lean activities in the shop floor. 5S, Visual management, value stream mapping, layout and logistics improvement.

Your background

Diploma in Mechanical with 35 years of experience
SAP Knowledge
Basic computer skills.
Ability to operate industrial equipment, including cranes and forklifts, heavy material lifting
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
Previous manufacturing experience is desirable.
Experience in lean manufacturing including 5S, Kaizen, A3, PDCA, JDI etc.
