Your responsibilities:
As a Product Owner,
- Works with the scrum team to define, prioritise and manage the product backlog to deliver on the product vision,
- Consults with business customers, stakeholders and crossfunctional teams to build a shared understanding of the
- Publishes and communicates the product strategy and roadmap to stakeholder and teams.
- Assesses and prioritises work based on outcomes to deliver maximum value.
- Continuously orders and refines product backlog to deliver maximum value in line with a clear product strategy and
- Takes accountability for the prioritisation of the backlog.
- Manage conflicts, issues and risks to optimise solution and ensure alignment to scope.
- Promotes continuous improvement of the Product Owner practice within the organisation.
- Manages the plan or product roadmap including any risk, security or financial assets within accountabilities.
Your skills & experience:
10-15 years of experience with good knowledge, working with the following traits
- Clearly expressing Product Backlog items.
- Ordering the items in the Product Backlog to best achieve goals and missions.
- Optimizing the value of the work the Development Team performs.
- Ensuring that the Product Backlog is visible, transparent, and clear to all, and shows what the Scrum Team will work on next.
- Ensuring the Development Team understands items in the Product Backlog to the level needed.
- The Product Owner may do the above work or have the Development Team do it. However, the Product Owner remains accountable.
Experience working with the following Tools:
- Confluence and Jira.
Awareness of the following Software Development Concepts:
- Agile methodology.
