Description

As the Senior Collections Manager for Recovery in the given region, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the recovery process for LAP (Loan Against Property) and BL (Business Loans) products.

Your primary duties will include:

Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and supervise a team of cluster and area managers. Provide ongoing mentoring and coaching to ensure the team meets recovery targets and maintains high performance standards.
Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Collections, Fraud, and Risk departments to ensure seamless coordination and alignment of recovery efforts. Facilitate communication and information sharing between teams to optimize recovery strategies.
Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate existing processes and identify opportunities for improvement. Implement new solutions and innovative ideas to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in the recovery process. Drive initiatives to streamline workflows and maximize recovery outcomes.
Retention and Development: Focus on employee retention, development, and engagement within the recovery team. Implement strategies to foster a positive work environment, encourage skill development, and promote team cohesion. Provide regular feedback and support to team members to facilitate their professional growth.
Performance Monitoring: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the recovery process's effectiveness. Monitor team performance against targets and take corrective actions as necessary to ensure objectives are met.
Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies related to recovery processes. Uphold ethical standards and compliance guidelines to maintain the integrity of recovery operations.
Reporting: Prepare regular reports and presentations on recovery performance, highlighting achievements, challenges, and opportunities for improvement. Provide updates to senior management on recovery activities and outcomes.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
Proven experience in recovery management, preferably in the financial services sector.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
