    Solution Architect - Principle Engineer

    You will be working as Solution Architect - Principle Engineer at global grade 11 and will be part of Electrification business area for Distribution Solutions division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to R&D Team Lead and will be responsible for working on to develop the architecture and design flows for the cloud platform based on primary customer requirements input.

    Your responsibilities

    • Supporting strategic technology management and future product, software or solution architecture
    • Initiating and driving R&D efforts using in-depth technical expertise in a specific area
    • Identifying and maximizing customer and business value created by their own activities in the context of ABB's overall offering
    • Managing or coordinating major technology or engineering projects, product platforms of substantial impact to their own organization
    • Providing support for resolving customer issues, guides and coaching on robust root cause analysis and corrective actions
    • Sharing knowledge and supporting colleagues in applying the lessons learned to ensure timely and high-quality results

    Your background

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent
    • Minimum 12 to 15 years of total work experience
    • Must have 7 plus years of good programming, debugging skills using at least any one of it Python, Typescript, Java or C#.NET Core
    • Must have 3 plus years of hands-on experience in AWS cloud platform or similar as a developer of serverless solutions with AWS Solutions Architect Professional Certification from Amazon or equivalent
    • Experience with cloud applications design, in particular IoT, Data Lakes and knowledge of front-end technologies
    • Strong understanding of Serverless and Microservices based container architectures, design patterns
