Description

Procurement Planning:


  • Collaborate with department heads and project managers to determine procurement needs.
  • Analyze inventory levels and consumption patterns to forecast future requirements.
  • Develop and maintain procurement schedules to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.

Supplier Management:


  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on quality, cost, reliability, and other factors.
  • Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure favorable pricing and service agreements.
  • Maintain relationships with existing suppliers and address any issues or concerns promptly.

Purchase Order Processing:


  • Generate purchase orders accurately based on approved requisitions and contracts.
  • Monitor purchase orders to ensure adherence to budget constraints and delivery timelines.
  • Coordinate with finance department for payment processing and invoice reconciliation.

Inventory Control:


  • Track inventory levels and conduct regular audits to prevent stockouts or overstock situations.
  • Implement inventory management systems to optimize stock levels and minimize carrying costs.
  • Coordinate with warehouse or logistics team to manage inventory movements effectively.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate records of all procurement activities, including purchase orders, contracts, and supplier communications.
  • Generate reports on procurement performance, including cost savings, supplier performance, and inventory metrics.
  • Provide regular updates to management on procurement activities and performance indicators.
  • Compliance and Risk Management:
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Stay informed about market trends, industry developments, and regulatory changes affecting procurement processes.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in purchase department.
  • Proven experience in procurement, purchasing.
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to build effective relationships with suppliers.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Detailoriented with strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fastpaced environment.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and best practices in procurement.

Job Types:

Salary:
₹15, ₹20,000.00 per month
