We are urgently looking for a Planner II to join our team. You may be who we are looking for


As a Planner at Confluent Medical's India site, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating production activities to ensure the timely delivery of medical devices while optimizing resource utilization and maintaining high standards of quality.

Working closely with various departments, you will develop and execute production schedules, manage inventory levels, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Utilize Kinaxis RapidResponse software to develop and maintain production schedules based on customer orders, inventory levels, and production capacity.
  • Develop and maintain production schedules based on customer orders, inventory levels, and production capacity at the India site.
  • Configure and customize Kinaxis Planning models to meet the specific needs and requirements of Confluent Medical's manufacturing operations.
  • Analyze demand forecasts, inventory levels, and production constraints to identify opportunities for optimization and improvement.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, supply chain, and quality assurance teams to ensure alignment and execution of production plans.
  • Monitor material availability and coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Utilize ERP systems and planning tools to generate production orders, track work in progress, and analyze key performance metrics.
  • Identify and resolve any scheduling conflicts or constraints to minimize disruptions and meet customer demand.
  • Communicate regularly with internal stakeholders and external customers to provide updates on production status and address any concerns or issues.
  • Support new product introductions, process validations, and other strategic initiatives as needed.
  • Adhere to regulatory requirements and quality standards, ensuring compliance with FDA regulations and ISO guidelines.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in production planning, scheduling, or materials management, preferably in the medical device or manufacturing industry.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities, with the ability to interpret data and make datadriven decisions.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and planning tools like Kinaxis, with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different functions and levels of the organization.
  • Detailoriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality standards applicable to the medical device industry is a plus.
  • APICS certification or equivalent supply chain credentials are desirable.
