Job description -Customer Service Assistant


The Logistics executive is responsible for the planning, organizing, and directing; managing and evaluation of the supply chain/logistics operations in an organization.


Responsibilities

  • Planning & Executing the shipment from Factory till final destination
  • Should have handled Port to Port shipment independently
  • Coordinate for sea & air shipment custom process
  • Coordinate with Shipper, liner,airline, transporter,CHA, Surveyor
  • Prepare reports like MIS for Documentation, Operations & Customer Service
  • Day to day office coordination & reporting to the Head of Department
  • Place booking in shipping lines,VGM,
  • Independently handle shipment from factory till final destination
  • Responsible for troubleshooting any concern related to international freight transportation
  • Maintain relationships with carriers and customers.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to customers and carriers.
  • Solve customer and carrier problems and help resolve issues.
  • Provide shipment quotes for customers and set up shipments as required by customers.
  • Excellent multitasking skills within their work space as well as computer software programs.
  • Be a professional representative of our company that other employees look up to.

Skills & Requirements

  • Good problem solving and decisionmaking skills.
  • Minimum Bachelor Degree,
  • Minimum 1 2years of relevant experience of working with freight forwarder is must
  • High quality written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment
  • Accurate and able to produce quality work
  • Ability to work in teams and open to others' views

Job Types:
Full-time, Regular / Permanent


Salary:
₹ 15, ₹ 20,000.00 per month

Benefits: 2nd & 4th Saturday off


Education:
Graduate (preferred)


Experience:


  • Experience with Freight Forwarder : 1 years (required)
  • Total work: 1 year (preferred)
  • Excel: Must have good experience in excel
