As an IT (information technology) executive you will
manage the information technology needs and systems of their employers, including implementing database and network designs, installing and upgrading software, ensuring systems security and troubleshooting computer issues throughout the organizations.


Job Description -

  • Be a custodian of the entire IT infrastructure of a company.
  • Keep stock of all IT infrastructure being used and spares available. Identify shortages and replenish supplies on time.
  • Set up computers, software, hardware and peripheral devices to be used by employees.
  • Provision laptops/desktops to new hires with installation of required version of Windows operating system, work-related software and network connectivity.
  • Periodically monitor and check the health of all IT infrastructure and devices (including employee PCs) to ensure that each aspect is operational and performing efficiently.
  • Ensure that all employees have access to the network, computer systems and required software.
  • Provide end user and internal support for all issues/maintenance/upgrades related to IT equipment including PCs, printers, server.
  • Troubleshoot any issues in the network system such as speed, internet connectivity, VPN connections, etc. and maintain network connectivity across all locations of the organisation.
  • Escalation point for User and Access management (provisioning users to Google Workspace, on-premises server access, access to appropriate network resources, etc).
  • Escalation point for all IT infrastructure complaints/issues.
  • Respond in a timely manner to service issues and requests.
  • Train users of the systems to make appropriate and safe usage of the IT infrastructure.
  • Implement and monitor daily backup and recovery procedures.
  • Great troubleshooting abilities and attention to detail.
  • Experience with using and deploying Windows Server.
  • Experience with installing and configuring Enterprise Antivirus Systems and Firewalls.
  • Experience with configuring and maintaining enterprise networks and network components.
  • Experience of maintaining IT infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of internet security, network security and data privacy principles.
  • Knowledge of data security systems, keeping data secure and taking backups.
Ability to priorities, respond in time, and notify for incidents. Familiarity with CCTV configurations is an advantage.
